Alex Wilson and his Salsa Orchestra keep the Latin Party flame alive with a free outdoor performance. The UK's top Latin jazz piano man and bandleader of one of the UK's hottest salsa outfits performs an up-tempo set alongside Baghdaddies Big Band and Brazilian singer Monica Vasconcelos and Earl 16, one of the greats of Jamaican music, Dreadzone, plus Prince Malachi, making his debut in Gateshead, whom many regard as the future of UK reggae, followed by a Bob Marley tribute show in the evening.
